Modern real estate practice requires lawyers who are comfortable with the application of real estate, corporate, securities, partnership and tax law to complex business transactions involving the acquisition, ownership, financing and operation of commercial and residential real estate. Thus, the members of our Real Estate practice team pursue an inter-disciplinary approach to sophisticated real estate transactions to offer our clients flexible and creative solutions to difficult problems across a broad range of transactions in the real estate industry in Thailand, all on a cost-effective basis. We have a particularly active property practice in our Phuket office representing both individual buyers as well as developers in the South of Thailand who regularly seek our advice and assistance in connection with the most appropriate legal structure, principles of Thai land occupation and ownership, taxation, and  in particular in relation to Condominium Law, land title upgrade, subdivision and reassembly, associated advice and investigation as to due diligence, liens, mortgages, easements, servitudes and other encumbrances, zoning and environmental regulations, and permissions. We have advised on transactions in most of the major developments on the island.

CONSTRUCTION:

Transactional negotiation of main contracts, subcontracts, trades contracts, management contracts, professional services contracts, and all subordinate documentation such as warranties, bonds, guarantees and insurance in relation to international and domestic construction projects. Dispute resolution and advocacy as to construction litigation, arbitration and mediation at all levels.”
